Jessica Murray is an Intermediate Portfolio Manager for the Thrivent Large Cap Value mutual fund for Thrivent Asset Management.  Her main responsibility is quantitative research - backtesting factors, building a stock selection model and finding trends in the market that can add to fund performance.  Prior to joining Thrivent in 2008, she was a Quantitative Analyst for U.S. Bancorp Asset Management (now FAF Advisors), building quantitative models to deliver alpha generating ideas to the equity portfolio management teams.  She began her career with FactSet Research Systems in a client service and support rol, both in Chicago and at their headquarters in Connecticut.  She received her BSBA from the University of Richmond in 1998 and her CFA charter in 2002.
