How many scholarships are available? In conjunction with our candidate program and CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Minnesota offers 10 scholarships to CFA Candidates. Our policy is to favor candidates most in need of such financial aid, with a modest bias toward Level II and Level III candidates.
What does the scholarship cover? The CFA Program enrollment fee is waived and the registration fee is discounted. Society scholars pay only US$220. The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Scholarships cannot be deferred to another exam offering. The exam registration fees include the CFA Program curriculum.
Who can apply?
· Society scholars must also be members of CFA Minnesota. A membership application may be in process at the time of application for scholarship.
· Society scholars must fulfill all CFA candidate requirements to register. If society scholars are undergraduate students, they must be in the final year of their degree program.
· Scholarships are not available to the immediate family of CFA Minnesota Officers, Directors and Committee Chairs or CFA Society of Minnesota employees or their immediate families.
I'm eligible. How do I apply? Candidates will be able to apply for the June 2010 exam scholarships beginning September 1, 2009, with a deadline of December 31, 2009.
