How are student and local memberships different than a regular membership?
Regular and Affiliate Members of CFA MN are also be members of CFA Institute. A Local and Student member is only a member of CFA MN and has all the rights and privileges of Affiliate members. Affiliate, Local and Student members have all the privileges of Regular members except the right to vote, hold office in the Society, and act as sponsors for membership. If you have no intention of becoming a CFA Charterholder and are not a student, Local membership is the appropriate membership type for you. If you are a full time university student then a Student Membership is the appropriate membership for you.

May I belong to more than one society?

How do I learn more about the Society, the CFA program and/or the local finance industry? Do you have a mentorship program? The CFA Society offers a mentorship program that connects new/prospective members with industry veterans who can answer questions about the CFA program, the local Society and specific areas of the Finance industry. What are dues and when are they payable?
Dues for a Regular, Local and Affiliate memberships are $95/yr. Dues for a student membership are $25/yr. CFA MN dues are billed and collected on an annual basis from September 1 – August 30. See: Membership Dues
