To Check Status of Application
To Join the Local Society When Already a Member of CFA Institute
Log onto your My CFA account. Select "Manage Account" at the top right of the screen in the gray bar. Scroll down to the Membership Section and click on "Apply for Society Membership". This will open your Account Home where you will see your CFA Institute ID number in the top right corner. Select "Apply for Membership". You will be prompted to answer some questions and fill out your Professional Profile. Once your Professional Profile is complete, select your Country and your State and press "Go". The CFA Society of Minnesota will come up; click on "Apply" at the far right. The application will be submitted and will take up to six weeks to be approved. Once approved you will be notified and directed to log on to your CFA Institute Account Home to make your dues payment and ACTIVATE your membership.
To Renew Both Your CFA Institute and Your Local Society Memberships
Log onto your My CFA account. Select "Manage Account" located at the top right of your screen in the gray bar. On the lefthand side of the next screen you will see a hyperlink for "Annual Dues". Click the "Annual Dues" hyperlink. On the following screen select "Renew Membership". You will be prompted to fill out your Professional Profile and complete your Professional Conduct Statement. Next click "Continue" which will take you to your shopping cart. When you get to the shopping cart you can select to pay with a credit card or to print an invoice. Your membership is not Activated until payment has been received.
To Renew your Local-Only Membership
- Complete this FORM and return to the CFA Society of Minnesota, either via email or mail to the address on the form.
- To renew your membership online you will be directed to the CFA Institute registration portal when you choose the appropriate link below. You will need to log in with your Institute ID and Password. If you don't yet have one, please create one by simply registering with your First and Last Name and a valid email address. It will appear as if you are registering for an event.
- Pay online by clicking your appropriate membership link below, or include a check with the form if you choose to mail it.
