Short Description

Position Summary:

 

The Investment Operations Analyst will be a member of the Okabena Investment Services investment staff, responsible for maintaining portfolio management systems and creating reports pertaining to the oversight and investment performance of investments held by the taxable and tax-exempt funds at Okabena Investment Services.

 

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·       Maintain data and systems used in the portfolio management and oversight process such as FactSet, Morningstar Ibbotson, Private-i, a proprietary private equity cash flow model, and proprietary Portfolio Dashboard. 

 

·       Have primary responsibility for development and production of Quarterly Investment Reports and Investment Advisory Committee materials.

 

·       Develop and improve investment management and reporting tools to be used by the Investment Staff.

 

·        Support the Managing Director of Okabena Advisors by performing analysis on the Okabena-managed funds and portfolios and creation of exhibits to be used in client meetings and marketing presentations.

 

·       Create reports from Okabena CRM system to track ongoing investment manager due diligence   

 

·       Prepare analysis necessary for client asset allocation reviews.

 

·       Review, monitor and verify performance-based incentive fees of underlying investment advisors and support investment compliance and operations efforts on an ad hoc basis.

 

 

Position Qualifications

 

·       Undergraduate degree required, preferably in economics, accounting or finance.

·       Four or more years of related work experience in an investment management or other relevant setting.

·       Exceptional working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and database management with ability to analyze output.

·       Understanding of capital markets and investment concepts, and a working knowledge of private capital, hedge funds, and real asset investments.

·       Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

·       Ability to work effectively in team setting and perform tasks for and with multiple staff members.

·       Strong written communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

·      Impeccable integrity, ethics and values that are evidenced in all relationships and demonstrated through sound judgment and a commitment to and focus on meeting client objectives.
